We are looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Parsippany, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering a blend of on-site and remote work, with a focus on supporting year-end accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a high level of proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with year-end financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Process purchase orders and verify supporting documentation to maintain accurate records.
• Perform treasury operations tasks, including monitoring transactions and maintaining financial data.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure proper alignment of financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently and accurately.
• Reconcile accounts and prepare necessary accounting entries to maintain financial integrity.
• Handle and organize financial images and documents for ongoing record-keeping needs.
• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve accounting-related issues.• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Excel for managing and analyzing financial data.
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ability to perform bank and account reconciliations accurately.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration and issue resolution.
• Familiarity with treasury operations is a plus.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
