**Job Title: Airport Security Officer** **Location:** General Mitchell International Airport, Milwaukee, WI **Job Type:** Full-Time/Part-Time **About Us:** General Mitchell International Airport is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for travelers and staff. We are currently seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our security team.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor and control access to airport facilities and secure areas. -
Conduct routine patrols of the airport premises to ensure safety and security. -
Screen passengers, baggage, and cargo in accordance with regulations. -
Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly and effectively. -
Maintain accurate records of security activities and incidents. -
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams as needed.
**Qualifications:** - Must be at least 18 years of age. - Must possess a valid driver’s license. - Must have a valid security permit. - Able to pass a drug test. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. -
Previous experience in security or law enforcement is a plus but not required.
