Job Description: As a Warehouse Manager at Northside Imports, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of auto parts. You will manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring that operations run smoothly and that all safety and regulatory standards are met. Your role is crucial in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, ensuring timely delivery to our customers, and optimizing warehouse operations to support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management: Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Oversee accounts receivable team
• Manage and oversight of the sales team
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and distributing auto parts. Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure accuracy in inventory records.
• Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely and accurate order picking, packing, and shipping. Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Operational Efficiency: Implement and monitor warehouse processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline operations.
• Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and procedures. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the warehouse. Manage warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and workflow.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics such as inventory levels, order accuracy, and delivery times. Use data to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, Branch Manager, or similar role in the automotive parts industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
