About The Role

As a StartX Campus Venture Partner, youll be at the heart of Stanfords entrepreneurial ecosystem, driving awareness of StartX, building partnerships, and connecting top founders with the StartX community. Youll organize high-impact events, engage with key entrepreneurship organizations across campus, and help grow StartX . This role is for current Stanford undergraduate and graduate students only .

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside Stanfords top entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors while gaining firsthand experience in startups, accelerators, and venture capital.

What Youll Do

1. Event leadership: Plan, organize, and promote key StartX events on campus, such as Campus Demo Day, info sessions, social gatherings, speaker events, and hackathons.
2. Stanford Partnership: Build and sustain strong relationships with campus accelerators, entrepreneurship organizations, student groups, classes, and faculty/staff.
3. Ambassador & Outreach: Serve as a StartX ambassador by representing and advocating for StartX at events on campus and sharing campus opportunities/resources with the StartX community.
4. Founder Engagement: Actively source and engage with the next generation of great Stanford founders from across all schools and backgrounds.
5. StartX AI Vertical Development: Help shape StartX AI Vertical from scratch, organize events, build relationships with top Stanford AI faculty/researchers/labs, corporate partners and VCs, interview AI founders, conduct market research, etc.
6. Exclusive Access: Attend exclusive StartX events, engage with top-tier StartX founders and investors, and gain insider knowledge on startups, accelerators and VCs.

Who You Are

1. Current Stanford undergraduate and graduate students only
2. A passion for entrepreneurship and building strong communities.
3. Enjoys attending and organizing events, and engaging with founders.
4. A hustler: organized, fast-paced, highly motivated, and proactive.
5. Well-connected on campus, ideally with leadership experience in student organizations related to entrepreneurship and AI.
6. Strong sense of responsibility and conscientiousness.
7. Bonus: Background or network in Stanford CS Department & AI labs, School of Engineering, Business, Medicine, and Sustainability.
8. A minimum 6-month commitment (5-10 hours per week), with the potential for a summer internship at StartX.
9. This is an unpaid volunteer role.
