Job Description

*Purpose of Position:* Part-Time Director of Worship (10 hours/week). This position works with the church pastors to plan and coordinate all aspects of weekly worship services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about reaching people through both traditional and contemporary worship music. Position requires a strong music background, ability to work well with others, and great attention to detail.

*Status:*

* At Will Part-Time Employment
* 10 hours a week
* Scheduled hours will be weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
* Specific schedule within these hours will be discussed and determined with Executive Committee.

*Starting Compensation:* $20/ hour (to be paid in 24 installments (2x a month))

*Benefits:*

* Seven paid holidays
* Additional non-paid time off provided (to be approved by Executive Committee)

*Primary Areas of Responsibility:*

* Support the mission, vision, goals and strategies of the Church.
* Communicate with Senior and Youth Pastors to coordinate weekly worship services.

*Other Responsibilities:*

* Weekly check-in with Sr. Pastor for discussion, discerning, planning, implementing, organization and communication.
* Weekly staff meeting. Be an active member of the staff team, attending and participating in key church-wide ministry events and activities.

*Qualifications:*

* This position requires a strong music background, ability to work well with others, and great attention to detail.
* Strong faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, along with strong relational skills and ability to connect with Sr. Pastor, staff, leadership, volunteers, congregation and people from the community.
* Commitment to the mission and vision of FRC, and a willingness to align with the ministry goals and strategies of FRC and the leadership of the Sr. Pastor.
* Be friendly, humble, flexible, adaptable, and hold a strong commitment to a growth mindset.
* Able to keep confidential information and help guard the culture of the Church in a Biblical community, through Christian character, teamwork, and discernment.
* Needs to be a self-starter with consistent, efficient intentionality demonstrated in tasks and follow through.
* Willingness to be available and responsive in a timely manner.
