Job Description

LHH is seeking a Concrete Estimator for a direct hire role in Charlotte, NC! The ideal candidate has 3+ years' experience in estimating within concrete construction. This position is fully in office Monday - Friday.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyze scope requirements and construct detailed bids based on paper or digital drawings.
• Cultivate strong relationships with General Contractors (GC) and oversee bid requests and quotes.
• Gain a deep understanding of bid processes and requirements, including site visits when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to company guidelines for labor and material costs to maximize project profitability.
• Manage the entire bid submission process, from receipt of drawings to final bid submission.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience reading drawings and developing estimates within the concrete construction industry
• Team player with a focus on building internal and external relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plan Swift, or BlueBeam, and ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Self-motivated, punctual, and capable of managing multiple tasks under moderate time-sensitive pressure.
