We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Dispatch / Shipping & Receiving professional to join our growing team in Odessa, TX. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth logistics operations, timely shipments, and accurate documentation. If you take pride in precision, efficiency, and excellent communication, this role offers a great opportunity to grow with a fast-moving and supportive organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily records for shipping and receiving.
• Enter customer sales orders and invoices with accuracy.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments, including assigning batch numbers, picking orders, calling carriers, and completing shipping paperwork.
• Maintain a file for all shipping and receiving documents, ensuring all paperwork is complete, signed, and properly recorded.
• Monitor shipping and receiving schedules and communicate status updates.
• Produce reports and documents as required.
• Check, process, document, and maintain a file on all slurry batches. Verify signatures, completion of blending documents, and ensure random QC checks are completed, documented, and filed accordingly.
• Ensure four scale tickets are completed for each load departing the Houston facility and are attached to the appropriate BOL.
• Arrange trucking transport from Houston Port to our warehouse; manage shipping from Houston via truck and/or railcar to warehouses in the U.S. and Canada.
• Work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond to changing priorities and customer demands.
• Communicate effectively with customers and vendors by phone and email.
• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Proven experience in shipping and receiving with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
• Strong ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities and customer requirements.
• Customer service focus with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with coworkers and vendors.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Forklift operation experience required.
