Job Summary:
Performs diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols. If this position performs both adult and pediatric echosonography, both Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) Specialty and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Adult Echocardiography (AE) Specialty are required or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). If only performing one area of echosonography (either adult or pediatric), then only the corresponding certification would be required along with 4 years of experience.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
