Job Description

Event Coordinator

Location: Hybrid but mostly remote with occasional travel - Boston or NYC area only.

Length: 12 months to start (potential to extend / convert)

Pay: $40-$44/hr (W2 and option for benefits)

Responsibilities:

Will program manage conferences and events.
On-site event execution
Will collaborate with other program managers on the team and will support larger conference deliverables.
Will be tracking the event budget and submitting invoices.
They will handle program deliverables, including marketing communications, collateral, registration/invitation copy/promotions, event logistics, and sales communications.
Dedicated to measuring return on investment for all programs and helping provide analysis and reporting.
Vendor and resource management

Must have:

Expertise with events and/or marketing, ideally within the financial services industry
Excel Expertise
Experience with budgeting, invoicing, connecting with AP, and PowerPoint presentations
Experience interfacing and negotiating with internal and external groups at all levels and across multiple functions
Ability to multitask, juggle, prioritize, and balance competing goals and projects.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of event marketing and/or marketing communications experience
Nice to have: CVENT and SalesForce experience
