About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of uniting and advocating for a network of food banks dedicated to eradicating hunger. The successful candidate will be responsible for deepening collaboration among food banks, expanding resources, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the network. This pivotal role involves championing policy initiatives at both the state and federal levels, as well as cultivating key relationships with funders and corporate partners. The Executive Director will also focus on strengthening the organization's internal infrastructure to support growth and impact, and will be expected to lead a strategic evaluation of the organization's systems and service delivery to remain responsive to the needs of the food banks and the communities they serve. The ideal Executive Director for the company will be a bold and resourceful leader with the ability to build trusted relationships and navigate the complex landscape of policy, advocacy, and partnerships. They should be equally comfortable engaging with legislators, government agencies, philanthropic organizations, and corporate partners, and must be committed to the values of trust, collaboration, and shared purpose.
