Fertility & Women's Health Acupuncturist position in Los Altos, CA, US

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid California Acupuncturist Board license.

Compensation:

$40,000 - $100,000+ annually

Responsibilities:
  • The position will begin with a half day on Tuesday and Sunday shifts, and more shifts will be added as the practitioner builds a larger patient base.
  • Evaluate patient medical records thoroughly to identify symptoms and areas of concern related to fertility and women's health.
  • Provide acupuncture treatments specializing in fertility and women's health.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored for fertility and women's health.
  • Administer acupuncture treatments using various established techniques, such as cupping and electrical stimulation, to address fertility and women's health issues.
  • Prescribe herbal medicine as part of the personalized treatment plans for patients focusing on fertility and women's health.
  • Monitor patient progress closely, adjust treatments as necessary, and continuously educate and provide feedback to patients regarding fertility and women's health.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic treatment environment conducive to promoting fertility and women's health.
  • Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems efficiently to track patient visits and progress related to fertility and women's health.
  • Collaborate effectively with the acupuncturist and administrative team to ensure optimal patient care and a positive work environment focused on fertility and women's health.
Qualifications:

Requirements for the Fertility & Women’s Health Acupuncturist position:

  • Authorization to work in the United States and a valid California Acupuncturist Board license.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of two years’ professional experience as a licensed, practicing acupuncturist with a focus on women's health.
  • Ability to work on Sundays.
  • Residence within 30 miles of our Los Altos, CA clinic.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the IVF process from a Western medical perspective.
  • ABORM certification (or currently working toward it).
