Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced freelance RFP (Request for Proposal) writer to develop compelling, persuasive, and technically accurate proposal responses. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of crafting winning proposals across various industries and RFP types (bonus points if you have RFP writing experience in the government space).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze RFP requirements and develop comprehensive response strategies
• Write clear, concise, and persuasive proposal content that addresses all client requirements
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical information
• Edit and refine existing content to align with proposal objectives
• Ensure compliance with all RFP submission guidelines and requirements
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
• Coordinate with team members to ensure consistent messaging throughout proposals

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience writing successful RFP responses
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Strong research and analytical abilities
• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure
• Experience with proposal management software (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or related field

Required Skills

• Outstanding written communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling content
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Project Basis

• This is a freelance position with project-based compensation
