About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with a growing manufacturer in the PVC piping industry. Known for its long-standing stability and team-oriented culture, this client is expanding its HR department and looking to add a reliable and bilingual HR Assistant to support daily operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Job Description:

This role will provide front-line support to the HR department by managing administrative tasks, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The HR Assistant will also serve as the initial point of contact for guests and employees at the front desk and will be cross-trained on HR functions including payroll and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct visitors in a friendly, professional manner (light lobby traffic)
• Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries to the appropriate contacts
• Maintain an organized and clean office environment; order office supplies as needed
• Assist departments like Operations, Sales, and Accounting with administrative support
• Enter payroll data and coordinate with a third-party provider for processing
• Provide assistance with various HR-related tasks and be cross-trained for growth
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and other employee relations initiatives
• Use systems such as Microsoft Office and UKG to manage records and communications

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of administrative or HR-related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or pipe-related industries preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Friendly, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Comfortable working at the front desk with occasional in-person interaction

• Employment Type: Direct Hire or Contract-to-Hire
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Flexible (8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–4:00 PM)
