**Job Summary:** We are looking for a **Java Technical Lead** to drive the design and development of scalable applications using **Spring Boot** and **Microservices** . You will lead technical initiatives, mentor developers, and ensure high-quality software delivery through best practices in RESTful API design, PL/SQL, and system optimization. Your work will directly contribute to our company's growth and impact. **In this role, you will:** + Lead the design and development of scalable applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture. + Oversee the implementation of REST Web Services to ensure efficient data exchange and integration. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to foster a collaborative and innovative environment. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. + Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and optimization. + Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts to support database operations and enhance system functionality. + Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. + Implement best practices for software development including code reviews and version control. + Coordinate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives and goals. + Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and user experience. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decisions. + Document technical specifications and project progress to ensure transparency and accountability. · Support the hybrid work model by effectively managing remote and in-office collaboration. · **Work model** We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Columbus, OH.
