Job Summary:

Mission Multiplier is seeking a motivated Junior Azure Engineer to join our Cybersecurity & Cloud Operations team. This entry-level position will assist with the day-to-day administration, configuration, and monitoring of the Mission Multiplier CUI Enclave, built on Microsoft Azure Government and GCC services. The role supports the secure design, operation, and continuous improvement of our enclave environment to maintain CMMC 2.0 Level 2 compliance.

Job Description:

• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of Azure Virtual Machines, NSGs, Key Vault, Azure Bastion, and related services.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID management, including device join, group memberships, and Conditional Access policies.
• Help maintain Intune device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and update rings.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding devices into the enclave, ensuring compliance with baseline configurations.
• Support integration and monitoring of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel SIEM.
• Participate in troubleshooting connectivity issues, RDP access, and policy conflicts.
• Document changes in accordance with Change Control Board (CCB/CAB) procedures.
• Maintain Azure tagging, inventory, and cost management reports.
• Help enforce security baselines, patch management, and vulnerability remediation in line with CMMC requirements.
• Collaborate with GRC team to collect evidence for audits (e.g., screenshots, configuration exports, compliance dashboards).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic experience with Microsoft Azure services (VMs, Networking, Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 GCC (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).
• Basic PowerShell scripting experience for automation and reporting.
• Understanding of security fundamentals (MFA, RBAC, encryption, logging).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to document procedures and follow structured processes.
• Hands-on experience with Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Azure Policy preferred.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0 requirements preferred.
• Familiarity with Sentinel KQL queries and security alerting preferred.
• Exposure to GPOs, WDAC, or AppLocker configuration preferred.
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or equivalent certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months) preferred.
