Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant / Paralegal to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist with various legal tasks, ensuring efficient case management and facilitating communication between clients, attorneys, and external parties.

Key Responsibilities

• 80% legal assistant work, 20% paralegal work
• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and contracts
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy
• Maintain organized case files and manage documentation
• Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case status
• Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates for attorneys
• File legal documents with court and ensure compliance with legal procedures
• Assist in the discovery process by organizing evidence and preparing exhibits

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
• Familiarity with employment law and litigation processes
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite
