Marketing Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role will develop and execute marketing strategies to increase organizational visibility. In addition to supporting Thrive’s initiatives, the Marketing Specialist will also promote our involvement in the Veteran community, helping strengthen our reputation as both a trusted home care provider and a dedicated community partner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with administrative leadership to develop, implement, and monitor marketing plans to achieve agency growth goals.
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website content, social media platforms, email campaigns, and online reputation/reviews.
  • Create and distribute marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and client testimonials.
  • Track and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness, providing reports and recommendations to leadership. Reach and views: Increase Thrive’s current reach on social media views by 10% per quarter.
  • Engagement and Interactions: Target of 100 interactions per month, demonstrating at least a 5% monthly increase in engagement and campaign effectiveness.
  • Follower Growth: Improve net follower growth, targeting 10 net new followers per month, with a quarterly growth of 30 followers.
  • Maintain knowledge of home care industry trends, regulations, and competitor activity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development; healthcare or home care industry.
  • Strong communication, networking, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools (social media, email platforms, website CMS, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar.
  • Creative thinker with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation that meets state guidelines.
  • Willing to travel through our service regions such as Maryland, Florida, Tennessee, and upcoming locations.
  • Personal laptop to be used for work purposes.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with organizations such as the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the Veterans Advisory Council (VAC).

Employment Type: 1099 Contractor. Hybrid work schedule (office and work from home) with travel to our service regions (includes multi-state travel).

Approximate hours per week: 35-40 hours

Monday-Friday: 9 AM to 5 PM, after hours, and weekends as needed.
