Responsibilities

• Greet, check in, and check out patients while ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, maintaining an organized office calendar.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and route calls appropriately.
• Maintain and update patient medical records with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support smooth daily operations.
• Assist with other administrative duties as needed to ensure exceptional patient service.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a medical office is required – no exception.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Professional, positive, and compassionate demeanor.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification preferred.

• EHR (Electronic Health Records)
• NextGen
• Epic

Schedule

This is a part-time position (approximately 30 hours per week):

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Tuesday: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• No evenings or weekends

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, with eligibility for a performance-based increase to $20.00 per hour upon completion of 90 days of employment.
