You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. This position offers the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects, collaborating with a team of experts to support mission-critical operations. You'd like to do this: * Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks. * Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP. * Procure network equipment and manage subcontractors involved with network installation. * Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security. * Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting. * Arrange scheduled upgrades and perform network maintenance. * Investigate faults in the network and provide solutions. * Update network equipment to the latest firmware releases. * Report network status to key stakeholders. You're required to have this: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred for higher-level positions. * Experience ranging from entry-level (1-3 years) to senior-level (7+ years) in network engineering or related roles. * Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS). * Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP). * Experience with network simulation tools. * Certification as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator is a plus (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA). * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. * An active TS/SCI with polygraph Salary Range: $100,000 - $175,000 The BlueHalo, an AV Company pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
