Job Responsibilities:

Belcan is seeking a Nurse 3 to join our team in Redondo Beach, California. This role involves providing occupational health nursing services, managing work-related and non-work-related injuries, administering immunizations and vaccinations, supporting health and wellness programs, and maintaining medical records and supplies.

Provide occupational health nursing services to employees or injured persons
Manage cases of injuries and illnesses, collaborating with Environmental, Health, and Safety teams
Attend to injuries, maintain treatment records, and administer policies related to drug and alcohol testing
Assist with OSHA medical surveillance exams and employee return-to-work screenings
Prepare reports and develop medical procedures and protocols
Support corporate health and wellness initiatives such as blood drives, health fairs, and flu shots
Provide health education and dispense standard medications; refer serious cases to physicians
Maintain and sanitize medical equipment and supplies

Basic Qualifications for Nurse 3:

High School diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of related education/experience
Current AED and CPR certifications
Registered Nurse with the State Board of Nursing

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree
5+ years of nursing experience as a registered nurse
Certification in audio and spirometer testing
Experience with Cal/OSHA reporting and occupational health standards
Occupational health nursing experience
