Job Responsibilities:

Belcan is seeking a Nurse 3 to join our team in Redondo Beach, California. This role involves providing occupational health nursing services, managing work-related and non-work-related injuries, administering immunizations and vaccinations, supporting health and wellness programs, and maintaining medical records and supplies.

• Provide occupational health nursing services to employees or injured persons
• Manage cases of injuries and illnesses, collaborating with Environmental, Health, and Safety teams
• Attend to injuries, maintain treatment records, and administer policies related to drug and alcohol testing
• Assist with OSHA medical surveillance exams and employee return-to-work screenings
• Prepare reports and develop medical procedures and protocols
• Support corporate health and wellness initiatives such as blood drives, health fairs, and flu shots
• Provide health education and dispense standard medications; refer serious cases to physicians
• Maintain and sanitize medical equipment and supplies

Basic Qualifications for Nurse 3:

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of related education/experience
• Current AED and CPR certifications
• Registered Nurse with the State Board of Nursing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree
• 5+ years of nursing experience as a registered nurse
• Certification in audio and spirometer testing
• Experience with Cal/OSHA reporting and occupational health standards
• Occupational health nursing experience
