Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operational Systems Integrator to actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks. The successful candidate will analyze technical issues, develop and implement corrective actions, and ensure the smooth operation of enterprise IT infrastructure while supporting the migration to new technologies and evaluating emerging solutions. Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and interpret visual outputs to assess the operating status of systems and network components.
• Translate user requests into technical diagnoses and implement solutions to meet operational needs.
• Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architectures or technologies with minimal impact.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies or equipment for integration into Agency-standard solutions.
• Support hardware installation, system and network administration, application administration, and storage setup.
• Implement security best practices, including PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenance.
• Utilize Unix shell scripting (Bash, Bourne, C) and Linux administration skills to manage systems. Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, Master’s degree plus 6 years, Associate’s plus 10 years, or high school diploma/GED plus 12 years may be considered.
• Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in computer or information systems design/development, programming, cybersecurity, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering.
• Strong Linux experience.
• Experience with systems/network administration, application administration, IT support/management, and hardware installation.
• Ability to obtain an IAT-I certification (A+CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+CE, SSCP).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Desirable Skills:
• Experience deploying and maintaining nginx.
• Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite.
• Exposure to cloud computing environments such as AWS.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, SALT, Ansible, and system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with SELinux and FIPS compliance. Physical Requirements: • This position involves sedentary work with physical requirements expected for at least 50% of the time.
