Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented optician to join our team, playing a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients. This position involves assisting customers with eyewear selection, fitting, and adjustments, and some clerical duties . A strong emphasis on customer service and sales skills is necessary for this role in our office.

Duties

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear based on their needs and preferences
• Perform fittings and adjustments of eyeglasses to ensure proper fit and comfort
• Educate patients on lens options, frame styles, and proper eyewear care
• Process orders for eyewear and manage inventory levels effectively
• Collaborate with the clinic staff to ensure seamless patient experiences
• Handle retail sales transactions efficiently, including managing payments and returns
• Stay updated on the latest optical trends, technologies, and products to provide informed recommendations

Experience

• Previous experience in an optical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Providing customer service in clinical and/or retail settings
