Now is the time to join Juneau Pediatric Dentistry!

We are looking for a friendly, caring and upbeat dental assistant to join our growing team! Must be good with children and able to work in a fast pace environment. Experience (especially in pediatrics) preferred, but will train the right candidate for a long term position. We are a fun, private dental practice dedicated to delivering the highest quality dental services in Southeast Alaska, we provide specialized care for infants, young children, teens and those with special healthcare needs. We are passionate about helping children achieve a lifetime of great oral health and healthy habits.

Responsibilities

• Set-up operatories
• Assist the dentist in exams and operative procedures
• Obtain radiographs and intraoral scans
• Seat patients, verify proper consents are obtained prior to dental treatment, maintain accurate patient records/ documentation including operative notes, and chart diagnoses
• Provide post-op care instructions to families
• Sterilize instruments properly
• Restock treatment areas and inventory

Qualifications

• BLS and CPR certification
