Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An excellent 13-week temp-to-perm opportunity is available for a dedicated Staff Pharmacist in Kentucky. This position offers consistent weekday hours with limited weekend rotations, providing a great balance between professional growth and personal time.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 1st shift (varied start times: 7:00am 3:00pm, 8:00am 4:00pm, or 9:00am 5:00pm)
One closing shift per week (11:00am 7:00pm)
Weekend rotation: Saturday 7:00am 3:30pm, Sunday 11:00am 5:00pm
Term: 13-week contract with potential for permanent hire
Responsibilities:
Accurately process and dispense prescription orders in compliance with all regulatory standards.
Provide professional patient counseling, ensuring understanding of medications and proper use.
Maintain confidentiality and compliance in handling patient and controlled substance information.
Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve medication issues.
Utilize pharmacy reference materials to support accurate and safe dispensing practices.
Requirements:
Active and clear Kentucky Pharmacist license .
Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience , in either retail or mail order environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
