📝 PMO / Business Analyst (Vendor Management – SaaS Energy Trading)

Location: Houston, TX – Hybrid (2–3 days onsite)

As we expand our footprint in the Energy & Commodities sector in North America, we are seeking a PMO / Business Analyst to strengthen our consulting team in Houston and drive excellence in the management of SaaS vendor solutions used by leading trading organizations.

🎯 Position Overview

SII Group USA is looking for a PMO / Business Analyst specialized in Vendor Management to oversee and optimize the relationship with SaaS vendors supporting energy trading operations (such as Morningstar, Montel, Enverus, ZE PowerGroup, etc.).

The role will ensure the performance, compliance, and continuous improvement of these critical platforms while acting as a key interface between vendors and internal business/stakeholder teams (Trading, Risk, IT, Compliance, Operations).

This is an ideal role for an organized, communicative, and reliable professional with strong stakeholder management skills and familiarity with the energy trading ecosystem .

🧩 Key Responsibilities

Vendor Relationship & Governance

• Manage daily interactions with SaaS vendors providing trading and market data solutions.
• Lead governance meetings, business reviews, and operational follow-ups .
• Track SLAs, service quality, escalations, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate contract renewals, licensing, and vendor performance assessments.

Business Analysis & Change Management

• Gather and formalize business requirements across Front, Middle, Risk, and Compliance teams.
• Challenge needs, define functional specifications, and prioritize enhancements.
• Coordinate with vendors for delivery, testing, UAT, and release management.
• Maintain platform roadmaps and align them with business strategy.

Project Support & Coordination

• Support initiatives linked to new modules, data integrations, upgrades, and regulatory changes.
• Track timelines, risks, dependencies, and report progress to leadership.
• Produce documentation: status reports, meeting minutes, decision logs, and dashboards.

Compliance & Operational Risk

• Ensure vendor solutions comply with internal cybersecurity, audit, and regulatory requirements .
• Participate in assessments, due diligence, and risk reviews.
• Maintain transparency and documentation according to SII Group governance standards.

🔍 Required Experience & Skills

Must-Have

• 3–7 years in PMO, Business Analyst, Vendor Manager , or equivalent consulting/IT role.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proven ability to interact with software vendors and manage SaaS delivery lifecycles.
• Excellent command of English (written & spoken).
• Solid organizational skills, reliability, and professional maturity.
• Understanding of cloud-based and SaaS environments.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in energy trading, commodities, or utilities markets .
• Knowledge of ETRM/CTRM systems, market data flows, or trading analytics tools.
• French proficiency (a plus given SII Group’s global footprint).
