About the Role
The Company is in search of a President/CEO to lead its credit union with a focus on community integration, member service, and financial inclusion. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the organization and its team to growth through visionary and inspiring leadership. This role is pivotal in maintaining the credit union's deep connections to the community and ensuring that it is not just a financial institution but a true partner in the lives of its members. The President/CEO will work to further the credit union's mission of being dedicated to the financial success of its members and the communities it serves, and will be expected to bring optimism, great ideas, and a love for working directly with members. Key responsibilities for the President/CEO include leading a dedicated staff, inspiring employees, and aligning the talents of high-performing individuals to create a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, a deep understanding of the regulatory compliance environment, and a heart for financial inclusion. They will also be the key liaison for the credit union, building personal relationships with members, and working closely with the Board of Directors to set organizational direction. The role requires a leader who can make a real impact on the financial well-being of the community, particularly in serving the diverse socioeconomic needs present in a rural setting. A minimum of 10 years of experience at a mid- to senior-management level in a credit union or bank is required, with a preference for a candidate holding a bachelor's degree.
