Position Overview

Eaton Compressor & Fabrication is seeking an experienced Specification & Owners Manuals Writer / Daily Production Scheduler to join our team. This dual-role position requires a detail-oriented professional who can create precise technical documentation while managing daily production scheduling operations in our air compressor manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Writing & Documentation:

• Develop and maintain product specifications, technical manuals, and user guides for air compressor systems
• Create clear, accurate assembly instructions and maintenance documentation
• Write and update operating procedures and safety guidelines
• Prepare parts lists, and diagrams, with technical illustrations assistance from our CAD Technician
• Revise existing manuals based on product updates and customer feedback
• When applicable work with our media team to generate the support videos needed

Production Scheduling (Sage100):

• Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
• Monitor workflow and adjust schedules to optimize efficiency and resource utilization
• Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, and purchasing departments
• Raise the red flag when material is short to prevent production delays
• Communicate schedule changes and priorities to production teams

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in related industrial equipment or automotive industry’s
• Strong technical writing skills with ability to communicate complex information clearly
• Experience with production scheduling and manufacturing operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

Benefits Package

Eligibility: Benefits available after 60 days of employment

Medical Insurance:

• Company pays a portion of employee single plan premium

• After 10 years: 3 weeks vacation (120 hours)
