Overview

Gathers insight into business operations and explores the existing business environment to identify gaps that impede reaching the desired results. Develops action plans and measures customer satisfaction of implemented products or solutions for the Health System. Researches and documents new project proposals. Performs project quality assurance reviews in support of the Project Governance process.

Compensation: USD $34.34/Hr. USD $53.23/Hr.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Education, Computer Science, Project Management, Organization Development or related field required. In lieu of degree, three years related experience will be considered.


Licensure/Certification/Registry

  • Certified Project Business Analysis (PBA) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) required or completion within one year of hire.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.


Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience occurring in business domain or industry required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook and Microsoft Project preferred
  • Experience in analyst or documentation role preferred
  • Experience with software design, analysis or process improvement preferred

Responsibilities
  • Ensure fulfillment of mission and progress towards vision; align with MHS values and strategic plan.
  • Coordinate projects for the PMO and IMO; document project KPIs and business cases to a consistent quality.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project management methods; collaborate with Quality, Decision Sciences, Innovation, and Transformation colleagues.
  • Monitor PMO project risks and develop mitigation plans with System Director, Integration and Project Management.
  • Manage large and small-scale projects within timeline and budget; handle scope changes with approvals.
  • Support a governance framework for decision making and lifecycle control of projects.
  • Perform ongoing quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency of output.
  • Coordinate data extraction and interpretation to understand current state and impact of project implementation.
  • Manage sensitive information with discretion; build productive relationships with System Leadership and colleagues.
  • Evaluate offerings and services; report metrics to understand utilization and improvements.
  • Maintain professional growth through continuing education and affiliations.
  • Perform other related work as required.
