Automotive Sales and Service Porter

We are currently looking for an outgoing and dependable individual to assist our sales department in giving great customer service!


The Sales and Service Porter will assist our sales team to provide smooth service to our customers working on buying a vehicle. They will move customer vehicles in and around the lot as needed, ensure vehicles are kept in a clean and damage-free manner, and help with cleaning and custodial duties in and around the lot areas.


The ideal candidate has an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, a positive attitude and professional appearance, and great communication skills. Candidates must be willing and able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment that includes enduring the heat of summer and the cold of winter and should be able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, professional attitude, answering any questions and/or directing them to the appropriate person or location
  • Installs disposable protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles brought in for service
  • Delivers keys and repair order to the appropriate Sales staff member after parking vehicle
  • Helps maintain a clean and safe service area by performing general cleaning duties (trash removal, sweeping, etc.)
  • Retrieves vehicles for customers when picking up, waiting at the vehicle, and thanking customers for their business
  • Follows all safety and security procedures
  • Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned
