Job Description:
Hiring Part-Time Seasonal Security Officer in Columbia
Seasonal Position: April 1 – October 31
Shift : Available 7am - 8pm, various days
Overall Duties
The security officer is responsible for patrolling the garden area, ensuring that visitors follow established rules, and observing and reporting any violations or disruptive behavior. When necessary, the officer should gently remind guests of the rules in a professional and courteous manner.
Caution: Officers may be in close proximity to, or come into contact with, dogs of various sizes and breeds while on duty.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Minimum of 1 year of security experience required.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
Must demonstrate a customer-first attitude and maintain a professional presence at all times.
As a Security Guard, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.
