Job Description As a Airport Security Officer in Kahului, HI , you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately during emergencies. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist with maintaining order. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned areas and perimeter of the location to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or hazards encountered during patrols. Maintain thorough documentation of all security-related activities and incidents as required by site protocols. Collaborate with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed to address incidents or emergencies within the location. Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing directions and information in a professional manner. Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to varying working environments and conditions at the location. Minimum Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet. This is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
