Position Title: Airport Security Officer Location: Kahului, HI. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Full Time - Overnight Shift Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Job Schedule Mon: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM Tue: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM Wed: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM Fri: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM Requirements Valid Driver's License 21+ years of age Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements) What You’ll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Communicate clearly and professionally with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as required. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any irregularities. Maintain detailed and accurate logs and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
