\nThis position is ONSITE in Torrance, CA must be able to commute to Torrance, CA
\nHours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
\n

\n What’s a typical day as Senior Accountant? You’ll:
\n-Assist in monthly general ledger close and financial statement preparation. Timely closing within 5-7 business days of month-end. Monitors, reviews and reconciles official and general ledger accounts on daily, weekly and monthly basis - 40%
\n
\n-Assist in preparation of regulatory and audit reports. Assists with NCUA, FRB, Opinion Exams/Audit cycles. Assist with resolution of findings or DOR items - 15%
\n
\n-Perform HTM payroll and biweekly AHM/HFCU payroll entries and recons, handle monthly benefits entries and reconciliations - 10%
\n
\n-Manage annual capital expenditures budgeting/projections/tracking - 25%
\n
\n-Manage Tax related programs primarily for employee State and Federal taxes - 10%
\n
\n This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
\n- Hold a BS degree in Accounting or Finance; an MBA/CPA is preferred.
\n- Have 7-10 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
\n- Possess strong analytical skills and experience in fixed assets and tax-related programs.
\n
