Overview Job Purpose We are looking for a Functional QA Engineer to inspect and assess software quality through functional testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting software defects and identifying discrepancies between specification and system behavior. Ultimately, as the last line of defense before releases are committed to Production, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are passionate about quality, we’d like to hear from you. Responsibilities (5 years of experience with at least 4 of the below skills) Review and analyze system specifications Collaborate with team members to develop effective strategies and test plans Execute test cases and analyze results Evaluate product code according to specifications Report bugs and errors to development teams Help troubleshoot issues Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle Knowledge and Experience Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role Experience with Fixed Income and/or Trading Systems, a big plus Experience in project management and QA methodology Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus Ability to document and troubleshoot errors Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Jira and ALM) and SQL Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude Strong organizational skills BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week. New York Base Salary Range The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between 118,500 - 153,500 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
