We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our dynamic Technology team in New York. This individual will play a critical role in enhancing the firm’s trading systems, with a strong focus on execution trading and close collaboration with traders and brokers.

Key Responsibilities

Partner directly with traders and brokers to improve execution workflows and trading efficiency.
Enhance and maintain core components of the firm’s trading infrastructure, including:

Data acquisition and validation from multiple sources.
Integration of quantitative models into live trading systems.
Execution logic and order routing across global markets.
Post-trade workflows, including reconciliation and audit trails.
Risk reporting and analytics to support real-time and end-of-day decision-making.

Develop and optimize systems for low-latency, high-throughput trading environments.
Collaborate with quantitative researchers to translate model outputs into executable strategies.
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure systems align with business objectives and compliance requirements.
Contribute to architectural decisions and evaluate new technologies to evolve the tech stack.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes using industry best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
3–5 years of detail oriented software development experience.
Proficiency in C++, Rust, and familiarity with Python.
Experience with messaging protocols (RabbitMQ, Kafka), WebSockets, and AWS.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design.
Familiarity with financial data APIs and databases (e.g., Onetick, Kdb).
Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
