Job Description We have an exciting opportunity to join our Employee Communications team as a Senior Manager 2. In this role, you’ll be the strategic partner to our Chief Communications Officer (CCO) and the Communications & Social Impact organization. You’ll shape and execute internal narratives and communications that engage, inspire, and align our employees. You’ll also support high‑impact communications initiatives for our Finance organization in partnership with our Director of Finance Employee Communications, bringing opportunities to scale your impact to more teams across LinkedIn. Responsibilities Be a trusted thought partner to the Chief Communications Officer and other senior leaders, advising on the right channel, timing, and content of communications to employees. Leverage understanding of business needs and insights to recommend, develop, and socialize employee communications strategy and planning for several functions. Implement tactics and collect and review results to ensure accuracy and quality across messages and channels. Lead communications for change management initiatives including organizational changes, new tools, and process updates. Own stakeholder relationships with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency. Incorporate best practices for decision‑making criteria and principles at the outset to drive priorities and expectations while defining and clarifying scope. Recognize opportunities, make decisions, challenge the status quo, and identify alternatives that reflect stakeholders’ diverse perspectives. Develop new stories/narratives and draft content independently, while connecting and reinforcing strategic messaging. Creatively use different communication formats such as live events, videos, and emails to inform and inspire employees. Recommend the most appropriate channels for the target audience and drive execution from start to finish. Qualifications Minimum 9+ years of experience in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related experience, AND 3+ years of experience in Employee Communications. OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field AND minimum 6+ years of experience in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related experience, AND 3+ years of experience in Employee Communications. 6+ years of experience supporting senior executives. 6+ years of experience in employee communications roles. 3+ years working in a communications or marketing‑focused role. Exceptional judgment and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to operate with a high degree of discretion. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple communication initiatives simultaneously, operate with ambiguity, and inspire collaboration at all levels of the organization. Salary The pay range for this role is $148,000 to $233,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
