Davidson Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer-Performance Analyst in Huntsville, Alabama.

Performance analyst to develop, benchmark, and utilize medium-level fidelity and first principles physics-based simulations to conduct analysis and develop requirements for integrated multi-phenomenology sensors, battle management command control & communications, and weapon systems for the Missile Defense Agency. Support and develop analysis planning and tool developments, Support requirements product development, and potentially represent the Systems Engineering and Integration Team to Missile Defense Agency to internal and external stakeholders in reviews and technical interchanges related to analysis. Collaborate with team Subject Matter Experts to ensure technical quality of performance requirements and analysis products. Facilitate expansion of Model Based Systems Engineering capabilities to incorporate analytical modeling and performance requirements.

Job Requirements:
•Degree and experience in an engineering classification, mathematics or physics, or other degree coupled with significant RMA and/or systems engineering experience: Bachelor's, Master's or PhD.
•10-20 years of related work experience
•Ability to perform with a team of fast-paced multi-skill system performance analysts and modeling and simulation (M&S) developers.
•Individual must have a strong technical background in using numerical M&S and a high-level programming language such as MATLAB, Python, or similar language environment to support development of system performance requirements.
• Individual must be able to demonstrate knowledge of building and/or analyzing M&S for M&S for integrated missile defense systems including subsystems such as EO/IR sensors, RF/Radar sensors, kill vehicles, missiles/interceptors, space systems, threats & countermeasures, target discrimination, or command and control (e.g., C3I, C4I, etc.).
•Candidate must demonstrate ability to think critically to develop and capture concepts in technical papers, presentations, and discussions. Individual must possess good oral and written communication skills.

Desired Competencies:
•Familiarity with the Missile Defense System Specification. Demonstrated experience modeling or simulating missile defense applications or similar domains (air combat, air defense, intercept of ballistic targets, intercept of non-ballistic targets, space vehicles, sub-orbital mechanics, countermeasure mitigation and discrimination, etc.).
•Knowledge of ballistic and advanced threat systems (e.g., aero-maneuvering, hypersonic, hyper-glide, countermeasures, etc.).
• Modeling and analysis experience in aspects of the missile defense system (e.g., Aegis Weapons Systems, Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD), Next Generation Interceptor, Glide Phase Intercept (GPI), Hypersonic and Ballistic Tracking Space Sensor (HBTSS), Fire Control, C2BMC, MDS sensors (EO/IR/RF), kill vehicles, interceptors, countermeasures, etc.).
•Systems engineering experience with large, complex systems and use of descriptive and analytical models supporting development of performance specifications in a Model Based Systems Engineering environment.

Clearance Requirements:
Must currently hold or be able to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
