The Systems Integrator provides support to the US DOE Office of Legacy Management IT Projects team. The Systems Integrator will leverage their knowledge and experience to participate and aid teams that develop key new IT capabilities or to modernize and enhance existing capabilities, artifacts, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the overall design, selection, installation, modification, and operation of an information systems capability.
• Understands and applies existing, company-specific project management methods.
• Typically actively participates in IT Project Management, IT Governance, and IT Operations department meetings to provide status updates, presenting planned configuration changes, assisting in root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Comprehends organizational structure and established escalation process.
• Completes project tasks according to subscribed directions.
• Provides local support to site operations and staff as needed, ranging from infrastructure systems, networking devices and configuration, client endpoints, and end-users.
• Has authority to complete assignments according to standard operating procedures; seeks managers input/approval for non-standard assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Licenses, Certification, And Experience

Education

• Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. Experience in lieu of education considered.

Experience

• 5 or more years of applicable and proven experience in Information Technology / Services.

Clearances

• No clearance requirement but the contract and/or the site requires US Citizenship to be approved for access. (includes NACI / T1, MRPT, CAC): Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to translate technical jargon to simple business language.
• Advanced analytical skills and ability to derive solutions to resolve complex issues.
• Understands and applies existing, company-specific project management methods.
• Develops solutions to resolve project issues.
• Assists with the creation and/or review of project and/or technical documentation; templates, charters, schedules, plans, design documents, etc.
• Experience in the M365 suite of products, spanning both administration and general use.
• Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Azure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), web conferencing tools (Teams, WebEx), and web browsers (Edge, Chrome).
• Exposure to or skills with any of the following: NIST SP 800-53, Networking, Server Operations or LM Cybersecurity systems (Splunk, CrowdStrike, Cisco FirePower).
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks and Cisco Firewalls.
• Collaboration and cooperation in various team settings in physical and virtual environments.

Essential Physical Requirements

Compensation & Benefits

Hiring salary range: $63,512.90 - $80,415.63 (Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
