\nRadiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech; Additional Notes from VMS= IR Tech
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Minimum 1 year of experience required, will accept first-time travelers
\n• Must have neurological and scrub experience
\n• Must be within 45-minute radius for call back
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ACLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI, Fluoro Permit, State licensed, prophacy relias advanced EKG
\n• Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission (pending MD license acceptable but must post prior to start)
\n• Weekend call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM Saturday and Sunday (can be primary or backup)
\n• Weekday backup call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday
\n• Holiday coverage 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM when needed
\n• Perform interventional radiographic procedures independently without direct supervision
\n• Work with specialized equipment including nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, hemodynamic monitoring
\n• Handle procedures including angioplasty, cardiac ablation, embolization, PICC lines, biopsies, and various vascular interventions
\n• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
\n• 40 hours of orientation required
\n• May float within facility and to affiliate hospital nearby
\n• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations with daily census of 10 patients in 3-room unit
