Pediatric Emergency Department RN

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking four experienced Pediatric Emergency Department RNs for 13-week contract assignments at the Yale Campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma. These night shift positions offer an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic pediatric emergency care environment that serves a diverse and high-acuity patient population.

This role is ideal for skilled emergency nurses who specialize in pediatric care and are looking to contribute their expertise in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency department
• Triage and assess incoming patients, prioritizing care based on clinical presentation
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per provider orders and ED protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, child life specialists, and other care team members
• Provide patient and family education and support during crisis situations
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Oklahoma or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Emergency Nursing experience required
• Current BLS , PALS , and ACLS certifications
• Strong pediatric assessment and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable working nights and rotating every other weekend

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in Level I or Level II Pediatric EDs
• Trauma and procedural sedation experience a plus
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems
• Previous travel nursing or contract experience
