\nRegistered Nurse - PACU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Block scheduling with 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
\n• 7-8 call shifts required in a 6-week period
\n• Weekend coverage requires 24-hour call shifts on Saturday or Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (2 weekend call shifts in 6-week period)
\n• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
\n• 36 hours of orientation required
\n• Must work holidays if they fall during assignment period (1-2 holidays = work all, 3 holidays = work 2)
\n• 1 year minimum experience required, accepts first-time travelers
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
\n• Epic charting system experience required
\n• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
\n• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
\n• Care for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
\n• Skills include Phase I PACU, arterial line management, dysrhythmia recognition, blood product administration, central line care, conscious sedation, post-epidural management, and various surgical specialties
\n• Daily census of 15 patients with 8 beds available
\n• Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission

The facility maintains an 8-bed PACU with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services. The organization emphasizes quality patient care across multiple surgical specialties including bariatrics, ENT, general surgery, gynecology, neurology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and vascular procedures.
