Your role is to assist technicians and doctors in providing safe, effective, and compassionate care to our patients while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Primary Responsibilities: Restraint and Handling: Properly restrain patients for procedures such as blood draws, catheter placements, injections, and physical exams, ensuring the safety of both staff and patients. Equipment & Environment: Maintain, clean, and ensure readiness of the clinic. Sterilize exam rooms and treatment areas to keep appointments flowing smoothly. Communication: Answer phone calls, relay questions or concerns, schedule appointments, take messages, perform call backs to check on patients, and respond to emails as needed. Record Keeping: Accurately take medical history and vitals, documenting information in patient medical records. Safety and OSHA Compliance: Follow proper safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations and standards. Continuous Improvement: Commit to learning and advancing your skills. We encourage and support continuous education and professional development in the veterinary field. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital setting preferred but not required; we are willing to train. Knowledge of veterinary software and medical terminology is a plus. Strong communication skills and a teamwork mentality. Passionate commitment to animal welfare and customer service.
