St. Matthew Lutheran Church is actively seeking an enthusiastic and qualified individual to lead and grow our children and youth programs. This part-time position requires a dedicated and creative leader who is passionate about guiding young people in their spiritual journey.

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor students: Inspire children and youth to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in their faith.
• Program development: Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive ministry programs for all ages, including Bible studies, outreach events, and small group activities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with children, adult church members, staff, and parents to build a vibrant and engaging ministry.
• Reporting: Provide monthly progress updates to the church council.
• Flexible work environment: Plan and execute activities that may occur at the church, within the community, or require travel. This role requires dedication and planning that will extend beyond a set number of weekly hours or daily time frame.

Qualifications

• A self-starting, creative, and enthusiastic leader.
• Experience working with children and youth of all ages.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
